Your Fort Collins Wedding
Creative visual storytelling has always been our focus. We do more than simply capture your wedding day. We tell your story in a stylish, amusing, and energetic way. Your wedding video is our art.
Brian’s work experience and trained eye make him uniquely qualified to shoot your special video.
“Because I have extensive experience as a television news photojournalist shooting literally hundreds of television news stories, I know how to quickly and efficiently gather a great deal of sound and pictures in a very short amount of time without ever having to sacrifice quality. This is an ideal trait for a professional wedding videographer. A wedding is, after all, only an 8- hour event. If I can show a bride and groom scenes from their day they hadn’t previously noticed, then I’ve done my job well.” - BB

The Video Breakdown
What is covered during the Pre-Ceremony? We know a lot can happen in those moments leading up to your walk down the aisle, whether it’s a special word between you and your mother or the best man pulling a last minute prank on the groom.
Because we are a husband-wife team, Kristi goes with the girls, and Brian with the guys.
Our style is always non-intrusive: our goal is to allow your day to flow naturally and uninterrupted. You won’t even know we’re there. Because we don’t stage or pose you, our wedding videos have a documentary-esque feeling about them.
A two-camera set up ensures that all angles are thoroughly covered during your wedding ceremony. Two wireless microphones provide excellent reception: one extremely small and unobtrusive mic for the groom’s lapel, and one for the wedding official. If you’ve hired musicians - and have readers - don’t worry, we’ve got that covered too.
Reception coverage generally begins with a formal picture-taking session following the ceremony. While you’re smiling for your photographer, Kristi will be rolling on your Reception set-up, the arrival of your guests, and cocktail hour. Unless instructed otherwise, I generally accompany the wedding party as it moves from location to location. I don’t want to miss any of the action.
Reception coverage also means making certain we get the wedding party introductions, first dances, speeches, garter toss, cake-cutting, and everything in-between up until your grand exit. If you want, we’ll even ask your guests to pass along a message to you on film.
What to Expect on Your Wedding DVD
The events of your wedding ceremony are precisely edited in chronological order and appear as they occurred. From the arrival of your guests to walking back down the aisle as husband and wife, watching your wedding video will be like reliving the entire wedding ceremony all over again.
Your wedding movie - the most memorable moments from your day in one place - made thoughtfully, made creatively.
This 15-35 minute film extracts the most striking, emotionally charged and engaging video images from the wedding pre-ceremony, ceremony and reception and weaves them together with a specially designed soundtrack built from audio moments throughout the day.
Audio moments are those catchy, short phrases spoken between friends or stated directly to the camera by your family members. They are phrases from those special readings you so carefully picked out. Audio moments are the laughs heard during toasts, and the hilarious stories told by your best man and matron of honor.
These audio-visual moments + choreographed to music = a DVD worn out from extensive over-play.
Not to worry, you receive 3 back up copies.
